Things will most likely come out better in the long run of a relationship if you let the girl win (even better if you are happy with the ending result). But let's explore the reasons why guys are often so eager to win in games and arguments.

First off, guys are naturally aggressive as we all know. It's in our hormones (though it's not a very excuse). We don't want to look weak in front of others. In competition especially, their "gender discrimination device" is turned off. Girls may take this in account that it's natural and go along with it as if she was taking a joke. Now if this goes on too much, and it's someone you care for, whether it's a close friend or your boyfriend, let them know it makes you irritated being in their wrath of triumph. If it's your boyfriend and he continues to do that for the heck of showing off, it could be a good indicator your relationship will be bad in the long run no matter how caring he may seem to be. Just be careful of these guys.

Guys, if you ever initiate a conflict with a female friend or your sister for whatever reason, you have to act like a man and stop it immediately.
