In today's world, the sea is expanding for many singles with lots more fishes to catch - thanks to the increasingly acceptance of interracial dating and marriages. It's generally more accepted in American familes, but for families in Asia, it can go either way. Fear and ignorance are two of the major things preventing that. They can be from culture influences or stereotyping.

Not to mention, language barriers can sometime be of a hassle for some. Unless you are a very patient person and is willing to spend the rest of your life teaching your spouse another language because you love him or her very much, move on. It may not be worth it to some as they are many others are who may be well equipped with a language they can survive with. Yes, I know I sound cruel, but for your benefit.

Overall, I think interracial dating and marriages are a good way in experiencing another culture. However, I'm not saying if you want to explore all of the world's culture you get a dates of different ethnicities. For those of you who is just looking for someone of your ethnicity, it's cool you may be keeping tradition or have a preference for that. But remember that somewhere along the line, tradition will be broken and preferences will change.
